Mindfulness Practice Groups

Mindfulness GroupsPracticing together is key way to enliven, deepen and support one’s meditation practice. It is so important that the Buddha said Sangha, or spiritual community, is one of the ‘Triple Gems’, along with the realizing an awakened mind (Buddha) and understanding the truth of nature (Dharma).

These practice groups are designed for graduates of the 8-Week MBSR program. They assume a basic understanding of mindfulness terms and concepts offered in the MBSR. Building on this foundation, each practice group will delve deeper into a theme or topic, which will serve as a source of inspiration and investigation. As always, no belief systems are required nor excluded. We will explore themes together, grounding our learning in science, psychology, religious and secular philosophy, and the arts.
